Trustbroker Africa (TBA) has held a week-long capacity and community building session for NREN security teams and participants from national CSIRTs in the Republic of Togo. Modeled in the Train the Trainer format, 16 participants were schooled on the structure of CSIRT and maturity, the legal nuances in CSIRT operations, and the national, regional and global cooperation for CSIRTs. Omo Oaiya of WACREN gave participants a sneak peek into how the TBA service infrastructure is modelled, how it would be deployed and the plethora of benefits its subscribers stand to gain. The event was hosted by TogoRER and CERT.tg – the national National Computer Emergency Response Team of Togo. FacebookTwitterLinkedInWhatsAppEmail
