WACREN, key stakeholders in Sierra Leone research and education community, Ministries and Departmental Agencies (MDAs), Telecom Providers, Donor Agencies and colleagues from Liberia gathered in Njala University for a workshop on the establishment of a National Research and Education Network in Sierra Leone (SLREN) on 26th April 2016. [flickr-photo:id=26715962992, size=c] The successful event led to adoption of the Njala Declaration on the establishment of the Sierra Leone Research and Education Network (SLREN) and the creation of an interim committee charged with the registration of the SLREN and proposing management and governance structure within 3 months.
