The National High Performance Computing Centre of la Côte d’Ivoire will be open to the WACREN community soon. This came to light when Dr. Barry visited the facility in Bingerville, near Abidjan. After a tour at the facility, the Director, Dr. Issa Traore, announced that his outfit is in the process of being connected to RITER. Dr. Traore said in due course, “the HPC will be accessible to national RENs, research centres and higher education institutions who need to process, store and analyze research data at lightning speed”. As speed and accuracy are critical to science and research, this news comes at a good time. FacebookXLinkedInWhatsAppEmail
