Joshua Atah is the CEO of the Nigerian Research and Education Network. He also serves as the National Coordinator of the World Bank-supported Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards Enhancement (SPESSE) and the Africa Centres of Excellence (ACE) Projects in Nigeria. He has also spent about twenty years working with the National Universities Commission in Nigeria in several capacities. In addition to several professional trainings in ICT, Project Management and Quality Assurance, he holds a Doctorate in Electronic Engineering from the University of Kent, Canterbury, United Kingdom. He is registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), International Association of Engineers (IANG), etc. He has also published several research papers in the field of Biometrics, ICT and Electronic Engineering.
