WACREN CEO met several stakeholders for the establishment of a NREN in Guinea. [flickr-photo:id=27597067824, size=c] In a meeting with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Minister of Vocational Training and the Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy, the idea of establishing a NREN in Guinea was strongly supported by the ministers.The same support was recorded in two subsequent meetings, namely with the Rectors of Guinean Universities and the Director Generals of research centers, and with all major telecommunication operators in Guinea. Meetings were also held with GUILAB, operator of the ACE submarine cable landing station in Guinea, the World Bank and the French cooperation office in Guinea.
