WACREN is excited to announce the 2026 WACREN NREN Academy, a key forum designed to help National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) boost their national impact and ensure long-term sustainability.
The 2026 Academy will focus on turning strategic plans into practical, scalable results. The program blends maturity assessments with hands-on business modelling tools to help develop viable, affordable services that can be used nationally and expanded across the region.
Participants will collaborate to improve business cases, explore service pricing, and track progress using the new NREN Performance Dashboard. The Academy also launches the Monthly NREN Clinic Series, a regular platform for ongoing support, peer feedback, and shared learning during the AfricaConnect project.
