WACREN will hold a practical and engaging workshop tailored to the teaching community as part of the Africa Digital Campus project piloted in Burkina Faso.

This event will focus on mastering the WACREN Video Kit, a portable kit designed for recording, editing, distributing, and sharing course videos. The kit enables quick production of course materials and can be used anywhere.

During the workshop, participants will explore various use cases for the WACREN Video Kit through hands-on experience. Educators will learn how to use this tool effectively to enhance their teaching methods, enabling them to create, distribute, and share educational content efficiently. The kit’s portability makes it a versatile solution for different educational environments.

Workshop schedule

The workshop will take place from 26 to 28 August 2024 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Workshop objectives

  1. Mastering the kit: Educators will acquire practical skills in using the WACREN video kit for various educational purposes.
  2. Produce course material – Quickly produce high-quality video material.
  3. Streaming and sharing – Understand best practices for streaming and sharing educational content using the kit.
  4. Advantages of portability – Explore the advantages of portability of the kit.

Expected outcome

By the end of the workshop, participants will have acquired the knowledge and skills to fully exploit the potential of the WACREN video kit fully, thereby improving the quality and reach of educators’ educational content.

This Workshop will be delivered in French.
