The NREN CEOs and their C-level colleagues across the WACREN region will converge at a webinar to learn about federated Identity and the interfederation benefits through eduGAIN.

Complementary to efforts to establish a framework for Trust and Identity through eduID.africa, the eduGAIN interfederation enables students, researchers and institutional staff to securely access a world of educational resources using a single sign-on. 

As WACREN is focusing on federated identity and access management in the coming year, the webinar serves as a convenient opportunity for NRENs to prepare to function as identity federation operators and play their role effectively and efficiently in the identity and access management value chain in the region.

The webinar slated for 8 December is open to NREN managers only.
