As the regional research and education network for West and Central Africa, WACREN supports its member NRENs by providing federated services such as eduroam and geteduroam, as well as access to regional digital services including collaborative platforms, resource repositories, and persistent identifier services. The optimal use of these services requires both a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts of digital identity and practical skills in configuring authentication systems and managing identities.
