Workshop on Identity Federation & Access Management

More than 20 participants from Benin’s various universities will be meeting to learn more about setting up and managing federated identities and access to IT resources.

For three days (September 11 – 13, 2023), the IT engineers from the UAC, UP and UNSTIM, spread across the various training institutes and colleges, will be adding to the knowledge they acquired at the last workshop on setting up and managing campus networks and the practical requirements for establishing an identity federation to move towards the goal of establishing the national eduID.bj federation to join the global federation (eduGAIN) soon.

This training workshop, facilitated by WACREN, is part of the e-learning infrastructure component of the ADC project financed by the Agence Française de Développement with funds delegated by the European Union and piloted by the IRD, the pilot phase of which is taking place in Benin and Burkina-Faso.

The Workshop will be facilitated in French.
