Position Overview WACREN is seeking a dynamic and creative person to join our Marketing and Communication Unit as a Communications Intern. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented young professional to gain hands-on experience in strategic communications while contributing to the advancement of research and education across Africa. As a Communications Intern, you will work closely with our marketing and communication team to create compelling visual and digital content, manage our online presence, and support high-impact initiatives that connect African researchers and educators to global opportunities. Key Responsibilities Design visual assets including logos, infographics, flyers, brochures, and social media graphics for campaigns, events, and publications Capture, edit, and produce professional photos and video content for events, promotional materials, and digital storytelling Support the management of websites, including content updates, optimization, and analytics monitoring Assist in implementing digital marketing campaigns Contribute to the planning, coordination, and delivery of local and international events Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or HND holder.
