Two universities join WACREN as Premium Associate Members

The University of The Gambia (UTG) and Universidade Amilcar Cabral (UAC), higher education institutions in The Gambia and Guinea Bissau, have joined WACREN as Premium Associate Members after successfully satisfying the regional REN requirements.

As a Premium Associate Member, UTG and UAC can get connectivity and advanced services from WACREN. The two institutions can also participate in activities, projects and committees, among other benefits.

Welcoming them to the community, the CEO of WACREN, Dr Boubakar Barry, urged the two HEIs to take advantage of the benefits as a member to enhance research, teaching and learning at their institutions.
